Thanks Phoebe for sharing your notes and community engagement.
An important narrative area to consider for your sessions is the “Tools to drive narratives against injustices”
What is preventing the humanity in us from action is I think the absence of convenient tools of r/evolution we can use everyday. Think about it, we have cars in our faces to polute daily but no tools to decarbonize, shops and advertising, payment, innovation, business schools, sales funnels and other systems that handover wealth, power and control to a few but none to share.
But perhaps the worst is we have an exclusive flawed narrative of wealth creation that powers all the ills we see against planet and society, but no inclusive narrative that fosters a flourishing planet and society.
On funding “really radical ideas” funders are boxed into the (again) narrative that ‘every dollar has to deliver tangible results’ which is understandable but also excludes radical ideas which are inherently risky.
And the Risk narrative is exactly what capitalism uses to justify its worst greedy feature — ‘Entrepreneurs take full “risk” to develop radical ideas so they deserve full profit’ — which soon concentrates wealth, power, privilege, control, and justice to a few.
Funders need to get out of the box and take on risky radical unproven ventures, otherwise injustices are justified.
